Renewing Our Sense of Purpose (sponsored by Guidance)
The purpose of this presentation is to use pieces of science from a number of disciplines to renew an educator's sense of purpose and help them pour their best efforts into tasks and projects that they find meaningful. Beyond this renewed sense of purpose, educators will have practical takeaways for how to integrate their own personal passions into a job and system that can sometimes leave us feeling out of touch.

Moving away from Mom's refrigerator? . . . . . how to pay for your college education
Last year more than 1 million students did not fill out or complete the FAFSA form and high school graduates lost out on as much as $2.7 billion in financial aid. Let's explore ways we can help our graduating students be money smart when it comes to paying for the schooling they choose after graduation. How can we teach students to best anticipate expenses and pay for those expenses so college becomes more than a dream? We'll cover designing a student budget, living cheap, instilling a sense of hope, and avoiding debt.
