Family and Consumer Sciences Education Vs. #adulting
Millennials have adopted #adulting to describe self-efficacy skills which older generations identify as the regular 'ins and outs' of life. This presentation will address updated research surrounding the generational shift and attainment of these self-efficiency skills, while providing educators with strategies to incorporate into the Adult Roles and Financial Literacy curriculum. It is time we bring students understanding of self-efficacy back to being an expectation of adulthood, and away from a trendy hashtag.
