How Much Wood Can a Nut Chuck Chuck?
A nut chuck is easy to make, costs about $2 in materials, and is infinitely versatile. In this session, Kip will demonstrate how to make a nut chuck, and how to use it in turning several projects appropriate for a junior high or high school manufacturing activity.

Come and see a real-world manufacturing activity where students design, mass produce, and market a product. This presentation is based on a unit taught at BYU in a manufacturing class and includes a summary by one or two students sharing their experience as part of a class manufacturing company.

Paper composites
Using low odor epoxy to create paper composite material for manufacturing projects.  This session will include a demonstration of the process and have some examples of projects that can be made or have been made using this process.  This is similar to a presentation that was given in the past.  Examples will be; handles, pen blanks, rings, bracelets.
