Dissertation: Reasons for Teacher Burnout in FACS
The Value of FACS - maintaining, building and retaining successful FACS programs is a concern many FACS teachers have. This presentation will share the results of a research study conducted in Utah about the perceptions of administrators, guidance counselors and parents on the value of FACS in the public school system. This research is being expanded to encompass the entire state of Utah and will be addressed in this session."

Stress, Anxiety, and Trauma; the differences and how to deal with them.
Stress is a normal part of life that we negotiate for survival, and in appropriate levels can produce growth and learning. But what if stress is chronic? What if your emotional brain is limited in its ability to handle normal stressors? Anxiety becomes the result. Chronic anxiety can tax the brain and spark the trauma responses. Learn more about these central nervous system processes, what to do about anxiety or trauma, and what to do to keep yourself or to help those around you in the normal stress range.
