Attendees will gain experience with layers 3 and 4 of the OSI model. Layer 3 will cover basic IPv4 addressing and subnetting, static and dynamic routing, and discussions on industry best practices for small to medium size business network design. Layer 4 will introduce the TCP and UDP protocols, how they work, and their impact on local networks and the internet. This session will end with a brief discussion on net neutrality and it’s impact on the internet as we know it. (Hardware/Networking)
